Happy #WritingWednesday! I want to share a quick word of encouragement from Psalm 92, highlighting verse 2.
Psalm 92
A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.
It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night…
– Psalm 91:1-2 (NIV)
I’m inspired by the call in this verse to declare God’s love in the morning and to proclaim His faithfulness at night. It’s a simple reminder, practical yet powerful.
It’s easy to get swept away by the demands of this life. To be overcome by busyness and overwhelmed by distraction.
A little intentionality can go a long way.
“What a beautiful thing, God, to give thanks, to sing an anthem to you, the High God! To announce your love each daybreak, sing your faithful presence all through the night…” – Psalm 92:1-2 (MSG)
What a beautiful way to start the day… announcing God’s love, speaking it out, sharing it with those around us. And what an amazing way to end the day… singing of His faithfulness, acknowledging His presence, reciting His recent goodness.
“At each and every sunrise we will be thanking you for your kindness and your love. As the sun sets and all through the night, we will keep proclaiming, ‘You are so faithful!’” – Psalm 92:2 (TPT)
Wake up focusing on His lovingkindness. Enter into rest fixated on His faithfulness. In all things, give thanks.
There are these daily rhythms – morning and night. There are also the rhythms of life – mountains and valleys, rising and falling, highs and lows, good and bad. We have a choice of how we’ll respond to the rhythms. We can either move with them, or we can fight against them. Rhythms often require intentionality, discipline, and grace.
Maybe this is a good season to implement a new rhythm. Maybe Psalm 92:2 is a good place to begin.
Make time in the morning to recall and receive God’s love. (Good morning.)
And carve out space in your evenings to remember His faithfulness. (Good night.)

Excellent reminder, dear Megan!
