Books:
- When God Says “No” by Elizabeth Laing Thompson – It’s an honor to be on the launch team for Elizabeth’s newest book, which releases on May 1st! This book was such a timely read for me… I enjoyed Elizabeth’s style of writing, how she brought Bible stories to life while speaking courage to my soul. Real life examples helped me remember that I’m not alone, and that God is still writing my story. In my current season of navigating a “no”, this book was both encouraging and refreshing. I highly recommend it! You can pre-order your copy now, or visit https://lizzylife.com/books/ for more info.

- Back Roads to Belonging by Kristen Strong – I stumbled across this book (the Kindle edition!) and it has been a comforting resource on my journey.
Bible Verses:
- “We’ve been overwhelmed with grief; come now and overwhelm us with gladness. Replace our years of trouble with decades of delight.” – Psalms 90:15 TPT
- “The amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.” – 2 Corinthians 13:14 MSG
Music:
- Jireh by Elevation Worship & Maverick City (covered by Jon Wright)
- Pieces by Amanda Cook (Bethel Music)
- On the Shores by Jeremy Riddle & Steffany Gretzinger (Bethel Music)
- I’ll Go Anywhere by Circuit Rider Music
Hobbies: Travel!
(My incredible Mom was able to visit this past week; we haven’t seen her for 2 years!! We were able to go on a few fun adventures together. Here are some of the highlights!)
- Niagara Falls – (I forgot how much I love the sound of water!!) I loved the trolley ride, getting to tour the whole park and stop at different locations. We found two amazing, 100% gluten-free places to eat at… Kith & Kin Bakeshop & Bistro in Lockport, and the Mother Clucker’s food truck at Niagara Falls!

- Wellsboro – Our family’s favorite local gluten-free spot is re-opening: StacyKay’s Cafe! I was so glad I got to take my Mom there (we stocked up on some delicious baked goods). We also visited Red Skillet (I like the Cranberry Almond Chicken Salad) and The Main Street Creamery (grateful for to-go pints of ice cream)!

- Corning – We finally got to visit the Museum of Glass (love that resident discount!), and we went to Poppleton’s Bakery & Cafe for lunch (savory gluten-free crepes!!)

Self-care:
- Engaging Hope in Seasons or Disappointment from Melissa Helser – this is one of my favorite teachings on YouTube! I usually listen to it at least once a year… it’s always a good reminder to get to know God and to feel my emotions.
- Easter Kit + Shirts from Rhythm Church

- Surprise package from one of my sisters!

- My “Anti-Inflammatory” Salad – I’ve been trying to eat more foods from the anti-inflammatory category! Aduki beans are one addition that my sister suggested.

- New iPhone case from Prone to Wander LA on Etsy

- So Delicious Dairy Free Ice Cream – Cookie Dough is my favorite!
Diffuser: Purification (from Young Living)
Dinner: Homemade Cauliflower Pizza – here’s my go-to crust recipe!
