I’ve rounded up another batch of my favorite things! I’m praying that they inspire, encourage, and motivate you. Remember to be intentional in your daily life… find things that bring you joy!

Daily Rhythms:
- Wait bible study from The Daily Grace Co (my dear friend Sonja sent me three bible studies and they are amazing! She also sent me this pillow cover with my #oneword trust!)

- 40 Days of Decrease by Dr. Alicia Britt Chole (my favorite guide for Lent)
- Ice melt that’s environmentally-friendly (helping me be a good neighbor in this frigid winter as I shovel my sidewalk!)
Books:
- The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby (a timely read for Black History Month, and an eye-opening perspective into the American Church and racism)
- The Deeply Formed Life by Rich Villodas (a gift from my friend Darcy; this book is both foundational and practical)
- Leaving Egypt by Chuck DeGroat (I am loving this book! Perfect for this wilderness season)
- The Extraordinary Life of Serena Williams by Shelina Janmohamed (another read-aloud book that I’m enjoying with my kids!)

Bible Verses:
- Ezekiel 34:11-12 – “For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.”
- Isaiah 40:11 – “He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.”
- John 14:18 – “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”
Music:
- Exodus (Faithful) by Bethany Dillon (an absolute throwback but I forgot how good this song is!)
- Love songs from Jon’s Valentine’s Day show at The Farmer’s Table
- We’ve been singing all the songs from The Sound of Music after watching it as a family (I don’t think I’ve seen it since childhood! It was better than I remembered it… I also related to this quote from Fräulein Maria a little too much: “I’m far too outspoken. It’s one of my worst faults.”)
Podcast:
- Project 1619 (I haven’t listened to all of them yet, but I highly recommend digging deeper; the history of our country that I was taught in school is vastly different through other points of view)

Hobbies:
- Making gifts with my Cricut Explore Air 2 (my in-laws sent me this generous gift, and I have had SO much fun learning and creating)

- Charcuterie (It’s like therapy and art, all at the same time! I did a themed board for Valentine’s Day; check out the pic at the top of this blog! Ain’t Too Proud to Meg always has great ideas!)
Self-Care:
- New journal from Thimblepress with my word, trust

- Plants! (I’m embarking on a plant journey, thanks in part to my friend Shannon! Jon got me these two plants for Valentine’s Day: Dracaena and Philodendron – they are in transit. Just hoping I don’t kill them!)
- Enlightened Ice Cream (my family’s new favorite for our weekly movie/ice cream night to kick off Sabbath)

- Bada Bean Bada Boom (also from Enlightened – a tasty, gluten-free snack in a variety of flavors!)
- This 30-minute barre workout from Sweat Trainer Britany Williams (I have a treadmill and exercise bike, but this is a great way to switch things up!)
In my Diffuser:
- Immune Booster: 2 drops Lemon, 2 drops Spearmint, 2 drops Eucalyptus, 1 drop Rosemary, 1 drop Lime, 1 drop Clove (I get my oils from Young Living)

In my Crockpot:
- Lemon Dill Soup (one of my favorite recipes from Shauna Niequist’s Savor Devotional; a delicious dinner for a winter night)

Favorite Day:
- February 25th is my favorite day of the month! This year it marks 17 years of following Jesus, walking with God, choosing life, and knowing Jon (check out my Saved by Grace blog)!
