Can I Get a Witness?

Your story matters. Your whole story matters. The good, the messy, the imperfect, the real, the hard, the redeemed, and the not-yet. All of it.

The world needs your story, your heart, your perspective. We need your eye-witness account of how God has saved and transformed and revealed His power in your life.

God has called us to be His witnesses – to be those who proclaim His goodness and bring glory to His name.

“You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me no god as formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from Me there is no Savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed—I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God. Yes, and from ancient days I am He. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?” – Isaiah 43:10-13 (NIV)

“But you are my witnesses.” GOD ’s Decree. “You’re my handpicked servant so that you’ll come to know and trust Me, understand both that I am and who I am. Previous to Me there was no such thing as a god, nor will there be after Me. I, yes I, am GOD. I’m the only Savior there is. I spoke, I saved, I told you what existed long before these upstart gods appeared on the scene. And you know it, you’re my witnesses, you’re the evidence.” GOD ’s Decree. “Yes, I am God. I’ve always been God and I always will be God. No one can take anything from me. I make; who can unmake it?” – Isaiah‬ ‭43:10-13‬ (MSG‬‬)

God has chosen us to know and trust Him, to believe and understand who He says He is. There is no one else like Him. Apart from Him we have no Savior. He revealed, He saved, and He proclaimed; things change when He speaks. We are His witnesses – the proof of His plan, the evidence of His love. Nothing can snatch us from His hand. No one can undo what He has done.

We’re created to display His splendor, to bear His light, to point others to His love.

So what is your testimony? What is your salvation story? And what is He doing in your life today? Your story from 5 (or 50) years ago matters, but your story right now matters just as much. Our relationship with Him is not a one-time decision; it’s a lifelong love story. How is He rescuing you today? How is He comforting and encouraging? How is He moving on your behalf? How can you be one of His witnesses?
